Ski Holiday in Finland
The unspoilt wilderness close to the Arctic circle is worth enjoying . This is an area where pistes are normally not crowded and scenic beauty is fantastic. As a side kick which one may call it , one can have a visit to Santa, a snowmobile safari what they name it. One can sight the reindeer, husky dogs and last but not the least magical Northern lights. Levi Resort
Levi is an adventure resort in the Arctic circle and offers one of the largest ski areas in Finland. Levi is possibly Finland’s most famous ski resort and hosts world cup ski events every time the world cup competition is held. The center of the village has a wide variety of shops , restaurants , bars and has a total of 15 pistes which are provided with floodlight for more skiing in the evening / night. With wonderful winter skiing facilities, this is a wonderful resort for ski holidaying with family and friends. Special amenities in Levi includes free ski bus with lift pass. Thermal clothing is included if anybody is booking any Arctic skiing or any activity whatsoever in Arctic region.
Pyha ski Resort
One of the Finland’s best known resort. Pyha lies on the edge of Arctic circle in Lapland. Since it is within the National Park of Pyhatunturi , one can experience a truly unspoilt landscape. One can see snow covered forests and lakes. Pyha offers a totally different type of skiing experience in the wilderness with downhill and cross-country skiing.
Ruka – the Premier Ski Resort of Finland
It is 60 km from the Arctic circle and 20 km form the Russian border, Finland’s premier Ski resort of Ruka is situated. It is really relishing to undertake the cross country skiing of over 200 km of trail amongst fantastic scenery and since most of the slopes are floodlit, one may ski up to late evening hours. The Finns are very fond of skiing and it is always a lively affair for them with music et al.
